You are once again right Mario. Ukraine, the US and NATO lost the war long before it even started. To underestimate Russia, to play Putin as a fool, play the Russian people as fools and refuse to accept Russia’s military and technological superiority, and not understand Russia is a country that knows what it means to fight and defend itself from invading enemies, and know what it means to die defending the sovereignty of its homeland is something Americans have never had to do. The world has much to thank Russia for. Had it not been for the 27million Russians who died defending Russia against Nazi Germany, the world would be a different place today. Russia during WW2 saved us from the tyranny of Nazism. The great irony is, it looks like it will be Russia again saving us from tyranny of the US and NATO. And while the world continues to march towards nuclear annihilation, if the US has its way, thank heavens, Putin isn’t the madman the West portrays him to be. Amidst all the provocation and threats and attacks Russia has endured, he has shown great restraint and rationality. The same can’t be said for Biden, Starmer, Macron and the puppets of the EU.
I question whether Russia's response is too little, too late. What Russia see as reasonableness and humanitarianism, the West sees as contemptible weakness and they push harder. It's like trying to talk sense into a barroom bully, a bully intent on picking a fight on any pretext.
