Days after Donald Trump’s chaotic and highly publicised White House verbal punch-up with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, questions continue to mount over his self-proclaimed role as a global peacemaker.George’s Newsletter is a reader-supported publication.
Trump is not for peace anywhere. He originally hoped to procure a deal on rare elements -- e.g., lithium and nickel, which are so vital for electronic vehicle batteries. Someone must have broken the news to him that a large percentage of the minerals he sought were in eastern Ukraine, which is under Russian control. The result was his despicable assault.
He wants Gaza and, effectively, the West Bank (i.e., "Greater Israel") free of Palestinians; he has also said that they will have no "right of return." I warned people that his administration would be MUCH worse than Biden's, but they ignored me...
The "rare earths" aren't especially rare, and Ukraine is not a treasure trove of untapped mineral wealth. That's just how the war was sold to Trump.
He did something similar in Syria, keeping US troops there for the sake of stealing Syrian oil, which everyone other than Trump knew to be a piddling quantity.
My SWAG is that there is no strategy, other than pumping Trump’s ego. "Doing deals" is of interest, only to the extent they pump Trump’s ego.
Zelenskii or his replacement will put on a suit and grovel appropriately. The europeans will snivel, beg, abase themselves most shamelessly. A statue of Trump may or may not be promsed.
Ukraine will get more weapons and money. The Sunk Cost Fallacy will continue to be abused, until WWIII. Even as he pushes The Button, Trump cultists will insist that this is all part of a Master Plan
His opponents will insist that he did so only on Putin’s orders and besides HRC/Biden/Harris would have pushed it sooner and better.
Vance is the wild card in all this. He appears to be Trump’s ear, knows how to flatter his boss, and I suspect that he set the little twerp up. I doubt Vance cares about Gaza one way or the other, but he is not so war-horny as to relish a nuclear exchange.
"Yet, as he (Trump) urges calm in Eastern Europe, his absolute silence on Israel’s catastrophic assault on Gaza exposes a glaring and unforgivable hypocrisy"
When he first appeared in public wearing his kippah it was quite obvious he had sold his soul & the American presidency to Satan's chosen people. The most barbarous depraved lying thieving scum the world has had to endure for 2,000 years
Trump is not only a hypocrite: he’s a greedy, self-serving racist who has taken millions of dollars from Zionist donors. To him, Palestinians, and Arabs generally, are not fully human. He, like Netanyahu, is also a liar. I am hoping they will both destroy themselves by their cruelty and greed.
The America-Russia-Israel alliance is the modern Axis of Evil.
And for all the Democrats who are still talking about this wouldnt be happening without Trump, these policies towards Gaza are a baton pass,Biden was planning for these things to happen and Trump just happens to be the in driver's seat.
If you're still seeing things in terms of Red & Blue then you're not paying attention and haven't been for awhile now.
The Trumpian way often emphasises disruption and strategic chaos as a means to achieve radical changes rather than gradual reforms. Looks kinda nuts but is actually a strategy.
Frighteningly this person is in charge of the biggest military force ever and hey, those hypersonic nuclear missiles aren't gonna launch themselves y'know 😬
I do think Trump is for peace and for making deals rather than war. However, his advisors I think are war mongers. The Jewish lobbyists to Congress are extremely powerful and invest significantly (albeit corruptly in my opinion) Netanyahu is pure evil and controls much of congress and the senate, every US president is sucked in by him. Hopefully, a multi-polar world order (with the Chinese and Russia) will help keep the US and Jewish lobbyists in line. A 2-state solution for the Palestinians is what's needed to avoid this race from being obliterated and/or Nomads. Netanyahu has to go; he is part of the bigger problem. In my humble opinion.
First of all Palestinians aren't a race. Second of all a 2 state solution is bullshit. The Israeli settlers need to go the fuck back to where they came from.

Miriam Adelson’s 100-million dollar donation to Trump sure was not meant to buy peace!

Hi Alec
Jews: “We need our own country because we’re hated everywhere we go!”
Rest of the world: “Start asking yourselves why.”
Perhaps we should examine and assess Trump just a little bit closer--down the rabbit hole we go!:

ouch, ouch, yeow!
That's my cup of tea - crappy webpage/good links combo - yeah 😜
lol! no bells and whistles -- just to the point!

Hi Mary.
Too bad the Palestinians don’t have orange skin. Perhaps then Trump might see them as “human”….
Then again, neither Trump nor Satanyahoo are human. They’re vampires, and I mean that quite literally.

Leave Russia outta this.
Then fuck off.
You realize that the USSR fell back in 91 homie lol 😂
Russia supplies Israel just not as much as America,so does China.
Nope.
