I was just having 2 similar propaganda filled discussions with 2 pro-Israel Zionists- who of course told me I had no knowledge of history and I was a Jew hater, for raising the same common sense arguments that you are. Anyone voicing the most morally correct position of opposing Genocide by Israel, should be expect personal insults & name calling ( and especially antisemitism & Jew Hater, Terrorist Lover) accusations hurled against them. When it comes to these geopolitical conflicts/wars, it's crucial that people are made aware of the true history behind them, instead of the misinformation and propaganda spread by the mainstream media.
So this politician recommends, or even demands, when your land is stolen, accompanied by all manner of war crimes, you should just sit there for the next 75 years or so and accept ever worsening conditions, more humiliation and wanton violence and killing, watching even more of your land being stolen?

When I've argued with hasbarah online I've been threatened - told to go home and 'watch your children'. I have found the identities of some. One was a sniper. They were in New Zealand pressure selling people to spend thousands on dead sea products. Ironically this is what pushed them out - the fact that they were denigrating and shaming innocent people into buying skin products.
How many other ways have they infiltrated our society? These are not Jewish people who are against all genocide, they are zealots pushing an agenda and they have a national narcissistic personality disorder.
I have recently learned that already in my city, Christchurch, New Zeland we have a weapons branch, a shiny new business, that is part of the chain that supplies sniper guns to Israel. So when our PM asks for a ceasefire its an overt statement that contradicts all the covert actions including the support for businesses sending weapons.
A long time ago, before I dug under the propaganda, I attended a holocaust memorial where a woman who saved numerous Jews during the holocaust, was honoured with a medal. When young Jews on a panel started blaming gentiles she stood up and interrupted them.
'This is how it starts,' she said. 'When you say 'us' and 'them'. When one group decides it is superior to another. When it demeans the other.' That, she said, is the road to a holocaust.
I have never forgotten that. She and a Palestinian man changed me. A man who told me that sometimes we can't just photograph someone dying in the street, we have to stop and help them.
And here we are. Hasbarah is the communications arm of a thug megalomaniac State that has scapegoated one group to boost itself. The media has been bought. And the lie it spreads is that expansionism and extermination is just dandy.

The American public's support for Israel is rapidly deteriorating. Support had plummeted from something like 80% on October 6, 2023 to 58% in March.
And then they stopped polling. I can't find anything since, except for a couple of regional polls showing overwhelming support for a ceasefire and majority support in the Midwest for cutting off all military aid to Israel.
Gee? Why do you think they either are not conducting or not publishing more recent polls on the subject?
