The Democratic Party (my party) must rethink many of its policies as it ponders its future.

To have a chance at victory Democrats should try listening to the concerns of the working class for a change. As a lifelong moderate Democrat I share their distain for the insane positions advocated by my party:

Democrat politicians defy biology by believing that men can actually become women and belong in women’s sports, rest rooms, locker rooms and prisons and that children should be mutilated in pursuit of the impossible.

Politicians like Harris believe borders should be open to millions of illegals which undermines workers’ wages and the affordability of housing when we can’t house our own citizens.

They discriminate against whites, Asians and men to counter past discrimination against others and undermine our economy by abandoning merit selection of students and employees.

Democratic mayors allow crime and homelessness to destroy our beautiful cities because they won't say no to destructive behavior.

The average voter knows this is happening and outright reject our party. Enough.

Harris had a lot better chance of victory if she isn’t carrying the baggage of President dementia and having to answer why genocidal policies like 2000lb on refugee tents should remain the business deal of the day. I think that’s what Obama’s working on. She could challenge the electoral system filibuster and settler colonial court advancing Shelby by picking Stacy Abrams and not go with the party’s pick for the most milk toast white male apologist for US atrocities especially in Africa and South America where lithium cobalt are seen as the future by racist funders like Apartheid Musk

Kamala for President? Should we care?

She can't be worse than Biden,.Right?

Kamala Harris is a Hillary Clinton surrogate. The main thing with Kamala is that she has the keys to the Biden "war chest," the Money, so she can run a blah-blah-blah campaign against Trump for a few months, lose, but Happy Hour is always paid for, because she's got a House Account, and someone else is paying the bills. The National Security State is a machine, with some puppets for cheap thrills...

Of course she will win, her nomination is the part of strategic thinking and planning.

She is a more viable candidate than Biden. I doubt she is any "better," but the issue is to stop Trump.

The weakness of Harris is that there is no good VP choice from the areas Dems most need to win (e.g., Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin). Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer would not be bad for another candidate, but I would question the wisdom of placing two women on the ticket. Governor Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania will raise eyebrows, even as Joseph Lieberman did in 2000, since the USA is probably not ready for a Jewish VP, particularly running with a woman of color. The list goes on. Still, I think Harris will be a much stronger choice than Biden, who is widely perceived as suffering from dementia.
