Why not edit the piece now to correct calling Trump a former president?

Give it a rest. The article is more important than one word left by mistake. My posts always have mistakes either because of my typing or when I have made changes and left in a word that doesn't.

Thank you Davina for your support. Obviously this character can’t read - it was corrected within 30 minutes of me posting the article.

God, I wish I could see this all as more than just performance.

Trump is still dining with the butchers cabinet - which I think says that they have his support to take over once the butcher is gone. Remember, Bidens genocidal admin also went after the butcher in the media, and went exactly no further than blah blah blah.

From what I can see, Israel is picking up contracts all over the place, here in Australia it doesn't seem to have slowed at all.

This is all about money, land, resources. Look at the shiny thing while the Palestinians bleed out in the corner.

Such encouraging news to read this morning. Showing humanity that negotiation is possible and that they are Freedom Fighters, who can also be diplomats ❤️‍🩹 May peace , food and aid be given to Palestinians.

I very much appreciate this piece but why do you repeatedly refer to President Trump as the former president?

If I were a religious person which unfortunately I no longer am I would pray this will have the effect that the entire world wants which is freedom for Palestinians to form their own state. However let us remember many if not most of trump's biggest donors are Netanyahu supporters and he and they are not known for their honesty truthfulness and a willingness to abide by common decency

It is time to end the Nazi genocide in Gaza.

Pope Leo yesterday, "I am deeply pained by what is happening. Let the fighting cease immediately, let humanitarian aid be provided to the exhausted civilian population, and may all hostages be released."

Sensible words. But it will take far more than words to stop Israel from its destruction of Gaza and its evisceration and evacuation of the Palestinians there.

What it will take is for the US government supplying the weapons and giving Israel Diplomatic cover being complicit with the Israeli Genocide in Gaza, to put it's foot down and TELL ISRAEL TO STOP.

Hamas was following the terms of the Trump brokered ceasefire and the agreed schedule of prisoner release.

It was the Israeli Old Testament Jewish Religious Establishment who became the mainstay of the Netanyahu government in January 2023, who threatened to leave the Netanuahu government if he continued and implemented phase 2 of the US Peace Deal brokered with Hamas.

That would have brought down the Netanyahu government and he would finally have to face accountability for his WAR CRIMES.

What about the Palestinian HOSTAGES held in Jail/tortured and abused without any judicial process?

Israel would shoot them all immediately if any request for their release were made at the same time as this hostage release.

Hamas are using diplomacy, testing the waters before jumping straight in.

George, I get 100+ email a Day from the MSM and alternate sources to read this or that. If the Subject doesn't grab me, they're deleted. It's too much to read every Day.

I always read your analysis of events that are so well written and generally match my interests.

Thank you for your prolific writing and admirable efforts on behalf of Truth and Justice!

If I were Hamas I would tell the US I would be their trusted ally in the region. Imagine a world with no wars in the Middle East? A wealthy and happy Palestine and Israel, a happy Iran. Is a Greater Israel really worth another decade of wars?

To the devil, "trusted ally" means "Just take what you want and we'll be quiet". America has nothing but trusted allies.

The significant development here is that Hamas and the US are talking directly again. I don’t buy the claim that 🇺🇸 is involved with Gaza because their citizens are held captive there. If that were true, Hamas would have released him a long time ago.
