What a disgrace. Not that the Liberals would have been any different. They shame our nation and Australians with their support for genocide.

Yes George, couldn’t agree more, absolutely shameful, pathetic but sadly predictable. Wanting a bet each way. Terrified of upsetting our masters. And by the way - where is the Australian Government’s Special Envoy for Palestine? How’s that going?? Powerful Jillian Segal for Israel was appointed months ago now. I despair.

Outstandingly said Judy. The special envoy is a tokenistic joy clown - the Marcel Marceau of special envoys - miming and mimicking but saying and doing nothing.

I am amazed that where I am from, New Zealand, voted for the resolution. Was expecting the A vote from this bunch of bully boys we currently call our government!

'Less contentious' what a total sell-out. I wish these people could be forced to look in the eyes of all the children they sentence to death by decisions like this. No moral courage deserves our moral outrage.

Shameful, but what right did we have to expect anything better? Meanwhile, here I am, living in the USA, where an "abstention" would mark a major policy shift. Alas, it is unlikely to materialize any time soon...

Following the Poms is probably not a winner in the long run. Following the US is worse, but Aussies seem less bothered by that. Aussies will just love Sir Keir Starmer...

Canada abstained too. I wish I could say I was surprised...

Vote Albanese out, and get rid of Wong! Get rid of these asshole puppets and install a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

I’m not sure voting Albo out will produce anything different. As a matter of fact Little Nell, Dutton would be far worse and has proven to be an even stauncher supporter of the Israeli cause and its war crimes..

If they have a country that doesn't value it's citizens like us Americans have, then there's no voting them out. I absolutely hope they have a representative government. I know we don't, in fact, Americans are the most brainwashed people in the world (I believe).

Couldn’t agree more. The shame is palpable. You can’t tell me they didn’t see this coming. Now the world is faced with a whole new wave of terrorism and Western governments have brought it upon us. But of course they will conveniently forget the why, and perpetuate the violence. And on it goes.
