Not wearing the yarmulke is more than just an act of defiance against Israel enormously significant though that is. It is also an act of defiance against Jewish hegemony in politics at all levels from the local through the national to the international. If the West is going to stand against developing dominance of Jewish fascism at these same levels it will need political leaders at all levels to make this kind of gesture.

It doesn't matter what they wear on their head they can still be serving the Zio's ideology.

Take Former Al-Qaeda fighter and then Daesh number 2, Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, real name Ahmad el-Chara has come out as a Zionist stooge, he ain't wearing a yamulke.

Albanese vs Dutton is a divide and concur -real political power remains where it always was, in place, unchallenged and secure.

That’s a fair call too Finn, however, the fact he's resisted speaks more about where his thinking at morality is. The open defiance is attractive amongst a sea of troglodytes and arse lickers

Anything but that cretin Dutton.

However I remember a event involving a caravan in Dural was used by the Albanese government to justify implementing hate speech laws which has obedient submissive written all over it, not much defiance there.

The event with the caravan was exposed as a hoax [false flag] while the official version of events was pure BS ....so exactly who's idea was it and who benefits and now that it was exposed as a hoax why haven't these laws been rescindled?

Clearly these laws serve another agenda and that my friend is the point that it doesn't really matter who ends up in the lodge under the present system, as one way or another they will always be serving empire.

A while ago friendly Jordies exposed Duttons numerous conflicts of interest - it's amazing nothing has come of it.

To his followers, it's just a sport - it's about the "win". None of them actually bother to think about what "winning" looks like.

Just for the record, I voted Greens and Protect Animals.

What we have is a system that's working exactly as intended - which was never intended to benefit the interests of humanity, the animal world or the environment but the interests of the financial elite and empire - [Australia is a mining outpost for empire, the influence of big mining over government policies is not to be under estimated]

Australia like the US, UK NZ and Canada is a Duopoly which means that neither side will deliver the change that we're all yearning for - I have no faith in the present system - If we must have a government then what's required is a new system.

If our so called ''democracy'' was to be compared to a tall masted ship then the sheer amount of rot in the hull would be more than enough reason to scuttle it.

Instead of attempting to repair the rot - it makes far more sense to simply build a new and stronger one while ensuring that none of that old crew would be permitted anywhere near the shipyard.

Nonsense, he's sold out. The Left has not learned how to lead. Leaders speak, people follow. If they push back at first, you speak more, you repeat yourself, you take moral stands. People love a moral crusade. He had an overwhelming majority, he could have set up a royal commission into Murdoch media, he could have recognised Palestine, he could have demanded the ABC show what social media is showing if the genocide and painted Murdoch as genocide supporters. He fell for the old trope of leading from the centre, that has never worked for the Left, as they have actually become the centre right.

And long may he never wear the kippeh/yarmulke! A significant perspective. If he reads this I hope his backbone stiffens!
