Thanks Baz but it's a piece that has to be written.

Quite a timely piece there George but it won't reach many minds not already made up, such is the relentless drip of western propaganda in a subservient media.

"The old narrative of “freedom versus terrorism” is losing its grip. More people are now asking: who really fuels global instability? Who defines terror — and who benefits from the definition?"

A very good question.

I would also ask which model, "freedom" or "terrorism" actually delivers the TERROR which coined the word and launched "The War on Terror" that our tired old world is so weary of?

you are the most profound and effective wordscriptor bar none, w/ the possible exception of chris hedges, george. the soul soars when one logs onto your poesy and profundity. thank you for pertinaciously prevailing as an advocate on behalf of middle east resistance groups. you propine the rest of us a scintilla of sanguinity.

Great post. Any sign you might agree with anything even remotely connected with Hezbollah in the UK would probably get you arrested. Here you have to be pro Israel, no matter what they do.

Scotland fought invasion, too, many decades ago butthe name terrorists hadn't been spoken then. The resisters against English domination were hung, drawn and quartered after their intestines were pulled out onto brazier, while the person was still alive. Now that Scotland wants to secede from England it is banned from even holding a referendum to give today's Scots a say in who rules over them.

Hold fast, your time of freedom from tyranny will come. Do not give up.

Scotland doesn’t have a currency. That was always one of the fundamental problems. So you either borrow foreign currency or join a larger block. No currency. No free-dumb.

The other fundamental problem is on one hand, most Scots support green agendas. On the other they tout North Sea oil as being their primary source of revenue.

The SNP -who have connex to the original Nazi Party- have led a long running divide and conquer op and many Scots are still falling for it.

As for "invasion", England has been invaded countless times, most notably by the Normans and then William of Orange, both times dispelling any indigenous ruling population. The "English" are not who you think they are.

Scotland did have its own currency but, although it was accepted in England it was not exchanged pound for pound. I know, I'm a Scot with a long memory. They bought out the Bank of Scotland and suddenly we were being paid with English pounds.

I remember our farmers had to send their produce to England then we had to buy it back. I'm also aware that some were told to pour their milk onto the fields, because England had enough of their own, of course they didn't do that with most of it, and sent it to those in need and to hospitals and schools for free (in Scotland). We also traded all over before the mistake of becoming part of UK. So don't tell me England is not who I think it is. I'm aware of who else settled in England, the country, and made their mark on the people, the real Engels are no more, too many invasions, however the feelings of supremacy has remained.

An other point on revenue. When that land South of Scotland managed to move all sorts of manufacturing south of the border you get it where you can, I know England wanted it all but a line has to be drawn sometime, somewhere. My stepfather lost his job because he refused to move when the company moved to England, and failed completely causing some dreadful problems after births, which never would have been the case if it had stayed in Scotland instead of being moved onto land that was corrupted.

At least now, made in Scotland has returned to replace the all encompassing made in Britain, or Ireland, or Wales.

Where do you get these fantasies from, the SNP connected to the original Nazi Party?

Now I iw it's safe to ignore you.

Given it was Scot William Paterson who founded the Bank of England in cahoots with his Dutch connections, and a Scot who founded the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC), I would have thought Scotland has more than enough understanding of how banking works.

The founder of HSBC, Thomas Sutherland of P&O, wanted a bank operating on "sound Scottish banking principles". HSBC played a major role in the First Opium Wars.

Perhaps it's all the Scottish Rite Freemasons who have subverted your 'cause'?

The reverse happens also. For example the separatists in Taiwan have never had double digit support. It's a fringe party, but is being amplified and supported by the west.

We always have to question the narratives we're fed, and I think the western narrative about bringing freedom and democracy is crumbling. How can anyone respect our countries' support for genocide and endless proxy wars?
