And the world stands by, grimacing and wringing its hands …..but does nothing. And now Trump will take the headlines and endless debates about ‘what this means’ for so called democracy in the US. Meanwhile another free pass for Netanyahu to slaughter the innocent ….we are witnessing true evil …..

And to add insult to the pain of the Palestinians, it's quite likely that Kamala Harris will be the next president. I feel so sad for those who go to sleep while bombs are dropping on their neighbors.

Tis is a US genocide -- you are either pro-humanity or pro-genocide --- there is NOTHING in between.

Where is the national community? Where are the so-called democracies? Where are the churches?

Why, is Israel not halted by the military might of the world's nations?

No, I'm not in favour of war and armaments and killing and maiming and all the sorrow, pain and loss that accompanies it. I'm a pacifist. I became one after active service in the Middle East and the senseless loss of life there.

Now, I am even more appalled that so many, if not all, leaders of supposed democracies make hypocritical statements about how there is no place for violence in democracies. What is wrong with the political class, regardless of their ideological persuasion, that they ignore the carnage and genocide in Gaza, even providing the very bombs that do the greatest damage, yet say as good as nothing about 90 civilians being killed by the IDF overnight yet make endless statements about the miss that allowed the most divisive and obnoxious of people who has made public assertions that he could walk down a street and shoot someone - with no consequences - to live?

No, I don't condone the Hamas attack and killings and abductions of 7 October 2023. However, that atrocity pales into insignificance compared with Netanyahu's ordered genocide.

Are our democratic leaders all lilly livered cowards? Are they all on the take? Are they all so incapable of rationality and compassion that they actually believe their own rhetoric? Or is the money provided by the Zionist lobby so great that they willingly swap conscience for mammon?

I'm disgusted. Whilst I don't condone violence, I can easily understand why someone, in a world which doesn't appear to care, would attempt to assassinate a man who is a cheat, a liar, an exploiter of poorer workets, a proponent of violence, an ally of dictatorial war criminals and who has an inability to open his mouth and speak without making abusive comments about anyone who doesn't conform to his absence of worthwhile values.

There is only one reason that it Trump's survival of an assassination attempt is good for the World, and that is that it prevents his ignorant followers from growing by considering him a martyr. Already I've heard and seen them saying what a courageous man he is and how they will "fight" as he has told them to do.

I don't believe in either good or evil but if I did, Trump is certainly on the wrong end of the spectrum and undeserving of any sympathy. He brought this upon himself.

Israel killed 90 Palestinian Hamas "human shields" to get 1 Hamas fighter, and according to The Jerusalem Post, killing all those Women and Children the IDF didn't even get their target.
