How good it is to see our situation articulated with such clarity. This should be an opinion piece in the national press - with interviews by the ABC - but they are all already bound to the Dutton/LNP-promoting nightmare it would seem. Thanks again, George.

Good article but not sure even Labor have the balls to put Australia first. They are all so bullied by the Americans and others. The clear interference and manipulation by Zionist, Israeli, Jewish agendas makes it unlikely even Labor will take a stand. But, if anyone could they could. Certainly not the Liberals and definitely not Dutton who has been bought bigtime.

Good article. From Kiwi-land all I can say is it's much the same here these days... Ever since David Lange's Labour govt of 1985-1991 it's been a downward slide to become American arse lickers

''what guarantees does Australia have the US won’t abandon it in a future crisis''

Why are they still here?

The US is well known for creating situations that they can respond to for the simple reason that it justifies installing their own little puppet regime, and how many times has there been a inner party coup in AU where the US played a role in it?

I get the impression George that you might prefer to keep these war mongers on AU soil?

Like Keating has mentioned we don't even need them we can look after ourselves like we ought to.

Becoming a republic has the advantage that every single agreement that AU has with other nations will have to be renegotiated.

However who will be doing the negotiations?

Will they be open, fair and transparent and can the negotiators be trusted or will the Australian public have the wool pulled over their eyes like when the TPP was secretly being negotiated behind closed doors with no member of the press or the public present and reduced Australian sovereignty into confetti.

Will corporations be involved in this process? - I fear they will be - however they are not people and therefor they should have no say in this matter.

I can have no faith in a politician like Albanese who just like Morrisson are WEF muppets.
