Well said Wendy and thank you. There continues to be strong uncertainty and confusion about the 'Voice to Parliament' and what its intent is, and what it's trying to achieve and for whom. It's for that reason, if people are uncertain, then they have no option but to err on the side of caution and vote no until convinced otherwise as to why their vote should be a yes, and the government has failed to do so.
so agree George, I also heard that an "unsure" vote will be put towards the yes vote, this is not good as many people unsure about the details are simply asking for more info and it's not indicative of what people actually want - can you check into into this?
Great article George, I had no idea about Albo's background and hence a greater understanding of his support for his personal initiative. In saying this, I agree the information has been lacking and all I know is, if this changes our constitution then it's very difficult to roll back if it doesn't work. Also, it represents only a minority of Australians and will likely lead to animosity by the general public, countering what good will Aussies already have for our indigenous populace. We should vote "no" until all information is forthcoming, further, why is there no greater clarity? what are they hiding? If it weren't also about politics and just getting a massive initiative through for the party, I may be open to it. Just look at WA pushing through a bill before McGowen resigned causing any land owner to have to get permission from an Indigenous leader to dig a hole in their property... beggars belief! This initiative I heard has been since rolled back because it was a bill secretly passed - much harder if they changed the constitution. We need to look forward as a nation, remembering and understanding our history - taking all Australians with us... not move backwards as this Voice to Parliament would do.

Yes I can check into it.
