It is the level of sadistic cruelty Israelis demonstrate toward those non-Jews they consider to be subhuman which is most shocking. It is as if they are constantly inventing new ways to torment and torture the Palestinians, particularly the children. The weather is stinking hot, they are in plastic tents and their colonial masters decree they will be shot if they put a foot in the sea.

I wonder how they treat their dogs and cats. And Australia helps keep them armed.

Anthony Albanese is simply another australian leader who offers ass to his American Master.

Francesca Albanese is so courageous, and I have the utmost respect for her. The other Albanese, not so much.

Nobody would be surprised that “our Albo” is a limp Lilly livered political chameleon! If you don’t stand for anything, you won’t last long when the heat is on, Say goodbye Anthony! There’s a good boy, now fuck off….

Yes, agree, tempting to say fuck off - but what would we get instead? War mongering Marles???

True, the Australian Govt is infested with pro-Washington servants. But just keep disposing of them until someone half-way decent turns up.

As an individual of Italian descent, Francesca swells my heart, while Anthony turns my stomach.

I have lost any respect I had when A Albanese became PM, any hope we had in decent governance soon went out the window. His first move to have any ministers who might stand against some of his being on the wrong side with coal, oil and gas companies or foreign policy were moved to where they were weakened. That told me he was and is a weak leader and no good at all for Australia. Chasing the AUKUS mistake showed his loyalty us not to Oz but to America.

He has bent to every damn thing that he should stand against and turned Wong into a talking head instead of what she was.

He is a huge disappointment and every day shows him up as useless for Australians good. Who is his whisperer? Is what he has been promised worth losing the respect of the people who voted for him? I think not.

It’s the hope that kills. After ScoMo many Australians believed better days were ahead. Instead it’s just more of the same, albeit in a Lite version.

You are so spot on. It didn't take long to kill the hope and that hurts so much. What a let down he is.

Last night I went on the internet to look for the video where he , in his younger days, spoke of Palestine and his support for it and there was more of what he said, I could not find it, the tech giants are maybe rewriting history as we speak, or I just could not find it.

I once was a labour supporter, however seeing this version of the labour party and knowing how much he and Tony Burke, that have previously supported the Palestinian's and their rights to live in their own lands . He knowingly and deliberately is lying. I no longer support this party that has knowingly shown and taken no measures. No regard for his voter base, humanity and Palestinian lives for his own selfish reasons. Everyone is born with choice, some cannot exercise that choice, like Palestinians in Palestine. He is privileged to unfortunately choose the path of deliberate lying, for his own evil reasons.

Yes, Albo is just another one in a long line of Washington loyalists who will sell their soul for their brief time with the limited powers of being an Australian PM. He would not be PM if Washington and Tel Aviv did not give their approval. Says much for Australia’s “democracy”.

Love the good Albanese. The other is worse than bad. He's the kind who permits the bad to grow by not calling it out for what it is.

"The other is worse than bad. He's the kind who permits the bad to grow by not calling it out for what it is." Absolutely - very well said. And then 'the bad' grows and multiplies....

Thanks, George, for such a concisely articulated juxtaposition. Or perhaps it isn't juxtaposition of two comparable phenomena. One is a vital, full, human expression of love and compassion. The other is a blank space, a void, a vacuum, literally a hollow receptacle which sucks up to, or attaches itself to other empty minds and vacant hearts.
