Elon Musk’s eccentricity has always been a force of innovation and disruption – you don’t get to be as wealthy as Musk if there isn’t something uniquely different.
Like all of history’s figures, Musk is one of its creative geniuses, his vision and fearless risk taking is not only changing the world but helping to protect it against forces intent on global control and the destruction of society.
Covid, the decimation of the US political system, the awakening to extreme government corruption, manufactured proxy wars, corporate control over media, decimation of democracy, collapse of free speech, cancel culture, and other intersecting factors - society’s disintegration has chartered a rapid course of decline in just over three years.
There’s much to thank Musk for, and regardless of his quirk, his brutal quest for free speech has delivered a gift lost and eroded – robbed by other tech giants Facebook, YouTube, Google, LinkedIn, and the formerly owned Jack Dorsey’s Twitter - all conspired with global governments to rob the world of free speech and the exchange and free flow of information.
And because of it, the world’s now a place of confusion and self-loathing.
Like all heroes, flawed or not, Musk is now a beacon - his acquisition of Twitter, now ‘X’, became a significant event in the tech and business world’s – shifting its focus and renewing its role - to help shape public discourse on global issues and give people a chance to have a voice to comment on a changing world.
Twitter’s change in ownership, has taken the control of information, speech, and influence away from a controlling mainstream narrative – to direct as best as possible, an open honest access of flow of information and public perception around global conflicts – like the Israel-Palestine war.
But Musk’s quest for free speech, also carries an inherent danger – the abuse to manipulate events and falsify information to produce propaganda to distort truth.
It’s a practice the Israeli Government has used and continues to use to justify events for its actions to sway and curry public opinion.
As much as the world is now awake to techniques and false narratives of what the Israeli Government tries to run, to counter it, Musk must look to introduce technology that can determine truth from lies.
The social media behemoth is now a window to reality than a wall of illusion and deception, in comparison to other platforms.
Musk’s $44bn acquisition of Twitter, has now allowed ‘X’ to become a pivotal platform for real-time news and grassroots narratives.
It provides a direct channel for those affected to share their experiences in war zones - offering perspectives that tell a vastly different story from a distorted mainstream media.
‘X’’s role has become even more pronounced since Musk's acquisition – its educating people globally about how mainstream media has been guilty of influencing and framing geopolitical narratives, especially those related to the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Renowned for disrupting industries, Musk's investment in 'X' was seen as another business venture. But his acquisition revealed more – an opportunity of exposure – to display the realities of regions embroiled in conflict and oppression.
It was a revelation providing unprecedented insight into the desperation for survival by people in war-torn areas.
Via ‘X’, Musk has brought global attention to the ignored atrocities occurring in conflict areas like Gaza and Palestine.
Previously limited in their coverage due to censorship and propaganda from occupying countries, the media now had a spotlight to expose the harsh realities of occupation, oppression, subjugation and dehumanisation.
Reports of war crimes, genocide, human rights violations, and the suffering of innocent civilians are now surfacing with consistent regularity and with a focus on the violators committing and engaging in the deliberate act of war crimes - contradicting the prevailing narratives presented by occupying forces.
‘X’ is now a platform of opportunity - anyone impacted by the horrors of occupying forces are now able to convey the true realities of their destiny and fate and not have to rely on a controlled distorted truth with the hope of honesty in reporting possible prevailing.
The world has in the past been previously fed a narrative of justification for these conflicts, but now it confronts the harsh truth of the Israel-Palestinian war - shifting perception and calling for accountability and justice for the victims of these crimes.
‘X’ has allowed voices to be heard like those of the people on the ground – providing a nuanced understanding of the conflict.
Hashtags are now rallying points for advocacy and activism.
And ‘X’s immediacy and reach has brought a new dimension of awareness around the Israel-Palestine conflict – facilitating the truth and mobilised support and action - ramping up international pressure for a resolution and humanitarian support.
Musk and ‘X’ have shaped global perception and acted as conduits for diverse narratives and catalysts for debate.
Unlike other social media platforms, ‘X’ is now a key player in how the world understands and engages with complex geopolitical issues.
The evolution of ‘X’s’ policies and use in global conflicts continues to be a subject of significant importance, but Musk’s desire for free speech has helped saved Palestinians from annihilation.
Well elaborated !!
