There is only one side of this human tragedy to be on and it’s the one that utterly condemns Israel’s sickening addiction to exterminating our fellow human beings. Israel has travelled a galactic distance beyond genocide - if that’s possible - to show the ugliest side of human beings, a side that defies understanding or description.
I didn’t think this level of organised depravity could exist out in the open in this world. But I was dead wrong, it’s happening in plain sight, in front of the entire world. There are no words in any language that can adequately convey the depths of suffering the Palestinian people are enduring. And there are no descriptions that I can think of to express the systemic failure of the world’s leaders to respond. Words are not enough. Action is non-existent. Redemption is impossible.

I am kinship connected to a chap born around 1740 in Jamaica (not the Caribbean island - the one in Queens County - the location of JFK Airport). Billy Blue (out of Dutch slave-owning (de Blaauw) background - in the British Navy - fetching up in England post War of Independence - then ending up in the colony of New South Wales and Sydney Town around 1800-1801 - married - had children - lived till 1834...amazing life - researched by Australian historian Cassandra Pybus. Other kinfolk connections - actually out of the Caribbean - living in Flatbush... Anyway gypsy33 - I really like your passion and I think - sense of humour, too.

Keep up the good work, George. In the 70's, our protests managed to turn the tide on the war in Vietnam. Mass protests influence Government policy.
